TVLINE | But not even playing a serial killer’s serial-killing girlfriend could have prepared you for the adrenaline-pumping nature of the beast that is 24.
Funnily enough, Chuck prepared me for 24. We shot relatively fast on Chuck — we had such a low budget, we couldn’t afford to spend a lot of time on scenes back then. So in a similar situation now, 24 runs very fast. It’s something that I’m used to, in a way.
TVLINE | I imagine some of the skills you picked up on Chuck — the running and jumping, the gunplay — came in handy as well.
Definitely. I mean, I didn’t feel like I needed to go into any kind of “boot camp” training or gun training with 24 because I do already have that up my sleeve. Even though guns still make me nervous. No matter how much experience I’ll have with guns on set, things can still happen and you’ve got to be very careful.
TVLINE | And then of course there’s the hope that you and Zach will one day revisit Sarah and Chuck. What are the odds of that happening by, say, the year 2020?
[Laughs] Oh, man. I don’t know. I’d say by the year 2020 that maybe the odds are good — it might take that long to get it together!
TVLINE | Y’all just need to steal away for a few weeks and bang out a one-off movie or something.
Yeah, maybe. We’ll see. You never know what Zachary Levi has up his sleeve.
TVLINE | Do you think Kate and Sarah would hold each other in high regard?
Yeah, except I think Sarah would get [angry] with Kate, because Kate is a bit “naughty” and does things not by the rules. I think Sarah plays a bit more by the rules — unless she’s in Thailand looking for Chuck! [Read the full interview here]

A Lovely Sunny Day: Zachary Levi feat Muppet Bert

Vi lasciamo al video ma prima ecco la spiegazione: "Stop snapping selfies and look up at the spectacular world around you. Zachary Levi and Sesame Street's Bert know that a day in the park doesn't need a filter. Take a walk with them on this lovely sunny day!"

Every day I sit right there
Sit and stare and check my Facebook, Email, Instagram
Chatting with my friends and making plans.
But on days with lots of sun
I say goodbye to everyone online
And say hello, cuz I know there's a place where all the
Bees are always buzzing 'bout the flowers they have seen.
And every tree is trending,
I don't miss my little screen, because
The sky won't need a filter
And the birds tweet just to say:
You should really take a walk on this lovely sunny day.
In the park I reconnect
Take some time to self-reflect
Yo, this Snapchat is going to be cray!
No hashtag selfie, put that thing away.

The pigeons make it feel like home
Follow me and we can roam
Across the grass and see
That now we're running faster than 4G!
On the playground there's a million games to play.
We don't need a fancy tablet with a retina display.
Because...

The Bees are always buzzing 'bout the flowers they have seen.
And every tree is trending,
I don't miss my little screen, because
The sky won't need a filter
And the birds tweet just to say:
You should really take a walk on this lovely sunny day.
Just look up and there will be
Bright blue skies, don't need a
Weather app to tell you that.
Subscription to this cloud is free.
Bees are always buzzing 'bout the flowers they have seen.
And every tree is trending,
I don't miss my little screen, because
The sky won't need a filter
And the birds tweet just to say:
You should really take a walk on this lovely sunny day.

Intervista a Timothy Dalton (aka Alexei Volkoff) su Chuck

(Spoiler alert!) Ricordate?

Chuck (2010-2011)—“Alexei Volkoff” / “Hartley Winterbottom” / “Gregory Tuttle
TD: I’m thrilled to talk about that. I had such a good time. I had no idea, really, what to expect, because although I’d done Charlie’s Angels, it was the first time in a long time where I’d had to do an hour—which by then was more like 40 minutes—in about seven days or eight days, generally seven. If you left 4 a.m. on a Friday, then we’d probably finish in seven days. [Laughs.]
Oh, but they were great. It was so funny, so alive. I mean, they were under such pressure, and so adrenalized. You’d go in the writers’ room, with its pizzas all over the place and all the cups of coffee, and the walls would have scribbled ideas on whiteboards and blackboards, and you’d bang around ideas and thoughts, and you’d have to learn stuff immediately. Immediately!
Zach [Levi] was great, and Yvonne [Strahovski]. They were fabulous to work with. I don’t think I’ve ever worked with a crew who could work so fast and so well and without any kind of sweat, with lots of pressure but no tension, if you understand the distinction. It was just a delight to do that. And I was given some space, which I loved, because I could take it on in a certain way. And people seemed to enjoy it, and I enjoyed it, and there we are! I was exhausted, but I was thrilled.
AVC: It seems like a show where the cast and crew would be geeking out at your mere presence.
TD: Oh, don’t be silly. I wouldn’t say so. I mean, you’re not telling me that others have said so, are you?
AVC: I am not.
TD: I would hate that, in a way, because… well, we’ve all got to join in together when we work, haven’t we? [Read the full interview here]

IGN TV: So you're back in the CIA!
Yvonne Strahovski: [Laughs] I know! I knew I would get this question!

IGN: Is that funny for you? When you were growing up, was there anything that made you think, "I could be a secret agent"?
Strahovski: I mean, I did consider that. Obviously, I've played a CIA agent before, and I have said in the past that I don't like to repeat characters. But in the same breath, I will say that this show is so different, as I'm sure you would agree, to Chuck.

IGN: Yeah, I would say so!
Strahovski: I almost feel like I'm playing an actual CIA agent this time, because Chuck was such an entertaining, funny show where we'd always do goofy scenarios. I mean, we had serious stuff to do on the show; it was dramatic at times, and there were tears and blood and sweat. But I think this is more the real deal, and it's more about real people within the CIA.

IGN: The tone isn’t the same at all.
Strahovski: Right. Also, in watching the show – I’ve been binge-watching 24, just like I binge-watched Dexter – I saw it was a whole different kettle of fish. The writing's different, the acting's different. So it's my challenge to come up with something different again, to what I've been doing in the past. I think so far I've been lucky enough to play very different, diverse roles, an this is an opportunity for me to do that again.
